EY - In-Person Mock Interview - Accounting - BAP - 9/15

This is a In-Person mock interview designed to help Accounting majors develop their interviewing skills. You are not interviewing for a specific position with the employer volunteer.

Given the limited number of Accounting mock interviews prior to Meet The Firms, please only sign up for 2.

To prepare for your mock interview:

-Dress professionally

-Research the company for future practice when interviewing

-Have an extra copy of your resume

-Be prepared with questions for the representative about your interview performance

-Review interview resources at: https://careers.uiowa.edu/interviewing

-Have a pencil and paper to take notes from feedback provided

-Arrive 10 minutes early to check in at the front desk if interviewing in person

The interview will be approximately 35 minutes in length and feedback and discussion will be 10 minutes.

DO NOT schedule a mock interview during your scheduled class or exam time.

Please note that once you are ON a schedule, you will not be able to cancel it within 7 days of the interview. See the Cancellation Policy at careers.uiowa.edu. There are circumstances that will allow cancellation, but if you are note dealing with any of these circumstances, you will be required to attend the interview.

Accounting Mock Interview Policy: Mock Interviews are designed to help you gain interview experience. Given the limited number of mock interviews each semester, students are allowed to sign up for 4 general mock interviews & 2 Accounting mock interviews per semester. We appreciate your understanding. Sign up for time slot as available. If there is no time slot available, the schedule is full. You may add yourself to the wait list and if a time slot opens, we will notify you.
