PRE or POST Licensed Mental Health Counselor OR LICSW

APPLICANT MUST LIVE IN MA OR NH AND BE WORKING TOWARDS MA and/or NH LICENSURE

Pay: PRE-LICENSE: $64 / per client contact

          LMHC/LICSW: $72 / per client contact 

Hours Worked: 30 hours per week 

Primary Location: Remote 

Position Summary 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

● Ability to be able to work up to and maintain 30 client caseloads at a time. 

● Responsible for the development and implementation of treatment plans with clients and ensure competency follow-up within 90 days. 

● Maintain accurate and organized client records, progress notes, and treatment documentation. ● Facilitates clinical strategies in order to help the patient accomplish identified treatment goals ● Takes into account the individuals’ strengths and potential limitations and are clearly oriented toward wellness and recovery, consistent with Clinical Records standards in accordance with prescribed time frames. 

● Complete 1 group supervision weekly and 1 clinical supervision each month. ● Conduct biopsychosocial assessment and mental status examination with clients within 24 hours or as needed.  DSM-5 Diagnosis Competency required.

● Complete Progress Notes within 24 hours of 1:1 contact 

● Facilitate client discharge along with providing continuing care recommendations. ● Maintain collateral relationships and contacts. 

● Complete progress reports and schedule within assigned timeframes. 

● Other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

● Masters in clinical counseling (MSC) is required. 

● Must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) OR LICSW or working towards it. ● Individual liability insurance is required and must be obtained prior to starting work when licensed. 

● Knowledge of counseling principles and methods for mental illness and substance use disorders ● Ability to be self-motivated and open to learning. 

● Exceptional at active listening to clients. 

● Strong organization and efficiency skills when working with clients and handling records. ● Willingness to work with a diverse population presenting a variety of cultural, socioeconomic, and developmental identities. 

● Must have the ability to foster healthy relationships that acknowledge individual identities and encourage personal growth. 

● Must have evening availability 1 day per work week (8 p.m.)
