Fish Culture Specialist I

The Fish Culture Specialist I is an entry level position that entails the propagation and distribution of cultured fish for the Department of Fish and Wildlife fisheries programs. A Fish Culture Specialist I is responsible for using rearing techniques that maintain the health, development, and distribution of five different species of fish. The Fish Culture Specialist I is also responsible for maintaining the facility grounds and assisting with maintenance of the mechanical aspects of this facility.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in fish culture or a natural resources field.

OR

One (1) year or more experience in the propagation and culture of food or game fish.
