Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) 16 Resident Cottage

Seeking a Super Star Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to Join our team!

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our leadership team as a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC). This vital role is perfect for someone with strong management skills, a heart for senior care, and a desire to lead by example while supporting both residents and staff in a vibrant and caring community.

In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations in ONE 16 bed Cottage where you are the Med Tech on duty for that shift. You are the team leader of the care staff team of your cottage, ensuring that residents receive consistent, dignified, and high-quality care. Your role will include assisting with hiring, onboarding, mentoring, evaluating, and guiding care team members with professionalism and kindness. You will be responsible for building daily schedules that meet the needs of both our staff and residents, responding to any staffing issues as they arise, and communicating regularly with your team regarding meetings, training, and other updates. Your leadership will help shape a positive work culture and create a collaborative, respectful environment.

Working closely with the Wellness Director and other department heads, you will contribute to the larger management team while also focusing on resident-centered care. You'll be a key resource for staff performance improvement, conducting regular evaluations and helping team members grow in their roles. Throughout all your duties, you'll maintain accurate and organized records, and you'll be a role model in upholding state regulations, OSHA standards, and our community's core values.

Your connection to the residents is equally important. You'll be closely involved with the development and maintenance of individual service plans, collaborating with family members, physicians, and other staff to ensure that the evolving needs of our residents are met with compassion and professionalism. You'll observe and respond to changes in resident conditions, support medication management, and lead or assist in care conferences. Your oversight ensures that every resident is treated with respect, dignity, and genuine care, while maintaining their independence and preferences.

This role also involves light oversight of housekeeping responsibilities during shifts, general administrative support such as answering phones, participating in staff meetings, and supporting all community policies and procedures. Reliability, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a positive attitude are essential.

This is an hourly position starting at $22 per hour, DOE, It is a PM SHIFT position (2:00-10:30) where you are also the cottage Med Tech for the shift and the community Person in Charge (PIC) while on duty if you are the sole RCC present.
