WHAT WE OFFER
The Data Analyst Intern will have the opportunity to apply their analytical skills and technical knowledge to real-world business problems. Working closely with an experienced Operational Excellence Department and cross-functional teams including Process Engineers, Reliability Engineers, and Production Management, the intern will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and using data to drive insights and decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious student to develop their data analytics abilities in a corporate setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and preparation tasks
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Create data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present findings
- Support the development of reports, presentations, and other data-driven deliverables
- Collaborate with colleagues from multiple countries.
- Participate in site meetings and learning opportunities
WHAT YOU OFFER
Basic Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of sophomore year
- Background or interest in chemical, manufacturing, or related industries
- Familiarity with programming languages SQL
- Knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with lean methodologies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics, programming, and databases
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
