Work with the Better Future Project as a QVS Fellow!

About the position:

The Better Future Project Fellow will lead programs that prepare communities to face climate change and strive for justice. This position will interact with each of our programs: CREW (Communities Responding to Extreme Weather), 350 Mass, and Make Polluters Pay. And, with the support of our team and our network of volunteers, engage in community outreach and climate justice campaigning. Strong candidates will have a passion for climate and environmental justice; experience organizing for social change; excellent time management skills; and be able to balance multiple priorities.

About Quaker Voluntary Service:

Quaker Voluntary Service is a 9.5-month service program operating in Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Portland, OR.  During their service term, QVS Fellows receive many supports including:

Monthly stipend

Housing 

Food allowance

Transportation allowance

Health insurance

Four off-site retreats

Programming every other week (QVS days) to engage in Quaker practices, learn about social justice, and develop many skills including community building and transformation conflict.
