Work with Quaker Earthcare Witness as a Quaker Voluntary Service Fellow!

About the position:

The fellow will be crucial to the success of our QuakerEarth Action Map. This includes developing and implementing strategies to encourage Quaker organizations to add their initiatives to the map and explore how the database and network can facilitate the sharing of resources. As the campaign progresses, the fellow will work with staff and volunteers to
develop resources and guidance for Quaker meetings and institutions to establish and strengthen their Earthcare work. The fellow will engage in diverse campaign work, including community outreach, direct action, database management, supporting our fundraising efforts, and supporting special projects as desired.

About Quaker Voluntary Service:

Quaker Voluntary Service is a 9.5-month service program operating in Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and Portland, OR.  During their service term, QVS Fellows receive many supports including:

Monthly stipend

Housing 

Food allowance

Transportation allowance

Health insurance

Four off-site retreats

Programming every other week (QVS days) to engage in Quaker practices, learn about social justice, and develop many skills including community building and transformation conflict.
