SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Marketing Strategist contributes toward helping the marketing team accelerate broad strategic plans toward tactical goals and key results. The Marketing Strategist is tasked with managing and executing projects integral to the team’s priorities in collaboration with key stakeholders across the Cru ministries. This leader will assist in coordinating strategies with ministry teams which may include: Family Life, Athletes in Action, Cru City, Godtools, Fund Development, and Cru Campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

NOTE: This is a missionary support raising role meaning that Cru pays you from the missionary support you raise. We train and coach you well in this process. The application is open until March 1, 2026 and decisions are made thereafter. We also host a preview weekend for this role in Orlando in early February 2026.
For this position:
- Work with Marketing Team Leads to translate broad strategic plans into tactical plans for execution (generally with specific partners).
- Develop initiatives by estimating the resources, timelines, and participants needed to achieve departmental goals.
- Provide clear metrics of progress for priority areas and regular reporting.
- Contribute to resources and systems that train, develop, and support key ministry stakeholders.
- Assist in communication and resourcing across Cru ministries.
- Execute key learning and best practices integral to marketing strategic plans.
- Administer operational needs related to project assignments.
- Secure and coordinate key stakeholders in order to provide deliverables for strategic projects.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other work-related duties and special projects as assigned.
- May also provide coaching and guidance to other marketing staff.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BA/BS preferably in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Marketing, Business, and/or 1-3 years of experience using digital analytics and digital marketing tools or thereby the equivalent of.
