Compensation: $15/hour + performance bonuses tied to targeted growth metrics

About Animal Lamps

At Animal Lamps, we "Do Good Work" and "Heat With Purpose". We are an Iowa-based startup that manufactures innovative electric radiant heaters for livestock. Our flagship product, the AL16, is a durable, efficient, and safer alternative to traditional heat lamps. We believe in building better tools for farmers to care for their animals that put farmers and their animals first, and we are scaling rapidly to make that vision real.

Role Overview

As a Sales & Marketing Intern, you won’t just be pushing paper — you’ll help drive a movement. You’ll work directly with the founder on customer acquisition, brand development, and marketing strategy, gaining first-hand startup growth experience while learning how to push limits — your own and the industry’s.

Responsibilities

• Research and build lead lists of farm supply stores, distributors, and agricultural operations.

• Manage and update CRM records for customers and prospects.

• Work within a marketing team to draft and schedule marketing emails, social media posts, and sales outreach.

• Coordinate farmer testimonials and influencer marketing campaigns.

• Track and report on marketing results.

• Run ads and posts on social media platforms.

Learning Outcomes

• Hands-on sales pipeline management.

• Experience in B2B and B2C marketing strategy.

• Exposure to CRM systems (Hubspot) and marketing automation.

• How to combine grit, creativity, and data to make a measurable impact.
