Forge Fellowship - Roosevelt Network

The Forge Fellowship serves as the entry point for students to the Network and a way to honor the legacy of the late Reese Needer—a Network staff member, organizer, mentor, and friend to many Roosevelters. 

Forge is our introductory program for community college transfers, first-year and sophomore students who are just starting out in their understanding of what policy is. Supported by Network staff and multiple mentors, Forge Fellows engage in foundational policy skills training and leadership development programming.

By the end of this program, Forge graduates will grow in their leadership skills, be better prepared to explore careers in the progressive movement , and feel deeply empowered with the skills to research policy and challenge neoliberal frameworks at every level of policy-making.
