Growth Equity Internship

Company Description:
Silvercrest’s Summer Internship Program is both an educational and experiential opportunity for rising juniors. The concept of the internship is to give the student a valuable learning experience and provide a working knowledge of how Silvercrest’s Milwaukee Growth Equity team operates for the benefit of its clients. An intern should expect to have direct exposure to long-only, fundamental equity research, portfolio management, and trading.

Job Objective:
As an Intern, you will have the unique opportunity to assist the team’s Senior Analysts and Portfolio Managers in their research across the four primary Growth sectors: Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, and Information Technology. You will be a crucial part of supporting the team’s Growth Equity portfolios spanning small to large market capitalizations. Your projects will be diverse, ranging from administrative assistance to building financial statements in Excel, conducting market research via numerous Internet and social media channels, and participating in sell-side analyst and company management meetings.  
 

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Passion for Fundamental Equity Investing
• Ability to work independently on directed projects
• Excellent follow-up and communication skills
• Working knowledge of FactSet a plus
• Preferably have taken or expect to enroll in Security Analysis curriculum and/or an Applied Security Analysis introduction program
