Surveys Associate - New York City
We are looking for a Survey Associate who is more interested in talking to people and solving project hurdles than sitting behind a spreadsheet all day. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Talking to Clients: You’ll spend your day communicating with Private Equity and Consulting firms. You’ll listen to what they need, offer feedback on their survey ideas, and keep them updated on progress.
- Managing Projects: You will coordinate between our clients, the experts taking the surveys, and our internal teams. This requires staying organized and keeping everyone on the same page.
- Fixing Problems: Projects rarely go perfectly. Whether client requests change or we’re struggling to find a specific type of expert, you’ll be the person who figures out a workaround and keeps things moving.
- Building Panels: You’ll identify and reach out to the right experts to participate in surveys, ensuring we meet the high standards our clients expect.
Qualifications
- A Great Communicator: You’re comfortable picking up the phone or writing a concise email. You can explain complex ideas clearly to people at all levels of seniority.
- Action-Oriented: You don't wait to be told what to do. If you see a way to make a process better or a client happier, you take the lead.
- Curious: You’re interested in how different businesses work - from how hospitals buy equipment to how software companies compete.
- Resilient: You can handle a fast-paced environment where deadlines are tight and requirements change quickly.
- Meticulous attention to detail: Strong analytic outlook (including experience with data sets in Excel or Gsheets format)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of Consulting and Private Equity, various industries and data analysis
- A plus, but not required: Experience with market research and survey design, primarily via exposure to survey design and the use of online survey platforms (gained in education or in a professional environment)
- The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the country they are applying.
