Marketing Strategy and Analytics Intern

The Pomerantz Career Center is seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Marketing Strategy and Analytics Intern to join the marketing team. This role emphasizes leveraging marketing data, analytics, and strategic planning to enhance the Career Center's outreach efforts. The intern will utilize tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube to analyze performance, inform marketing strategies, and support stakeholder engagement.

(Start date is flexible beginning Fall 2026, and the position may continue up until graduation based on performance. Position starting at $11.00/hour.) 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data-driven marketing projects.
  • Analyze digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and social media insights.
  • Conduct benchmarking research and develop marketing strategies based on key performance metrics.
  • Monitor and report on social media engagement and ROI to inform future campaigns.
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments, messages, and collaboration inquiries.
  • Support content strategy by identifying trends and audience behavior.
  • Collaborate with other interns and staff on strategic projects as needed.

 

Skills

  • Familiarity with communications, marketing, public relations, digital marketing strategies, data analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Familiar with Hootsuite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) preferred.
  • Proficient in social media (multiple platforms) for business use.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated, self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
