  • Collaborate with Career Center staff across multiple teams to identify content ideas, key messages, and upcoming initiatives to highlight.
  • Translate career education topics (resumes, interviews, networking, employer engagement, career exploration, etc.) into engaging, easy‑to‑understand video content.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and content planning meetings with the marketing team.
  • Take primary responsibility for filming and producing video content, including basic editing, caption writing, and preparing posts that meet brand and accessibility standards.
  • Stay up to date on social media and short‑form video trends, particularly those popular with college students, and help adapt trends for educational use.
  • Represent the Pomerantz Career Center in a professional, welcoming, and student‑friendly manner on camera.
  • Support other digital content projects as needed (e.g., photography, event coverage, campaign support).

Skills

  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly and creatively.
  • Interest in social media, digital storytelling, and video content creation.
  • Experience creating short‑form video content for social media (personal, student org, or professional accounts) preferred.
  • Familiarity with video editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong time‑management skills and ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and open to feedback.
