CED is a growing, nationwide company with over 750 locations. We are expanding our business in many locations and offer an incredible way to begin your career or transition into a sales role.

This entry-level position in sales allows the successful candidate to learn the electrical wholesale business through experiencing every aspect of one of our “profit center” business units. This position has upward mobility and an opportunity to make a tangible impact on a growing business. During a 12-18 month paid training period, you will learn the skills you need to greatly contribute to a growing business and take on increasing responsibility.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Inside Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Developing Product Knowledge
  • Inventory Management
  • Process Improvement
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Purchasing
  • Accounting Operations
  • Digital Initiatives (Customer Portal Maintenance, Mobile App, etc.)

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Entrepreneurial minded
  • Desire to grow sales and maximize profitability
  • Comfortable in a warehouse setting
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Typical Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Hiring Location: Chicago, IL

Hourly Wage: 27-30/hr + Profit Sharing

Total compensation expectation: 61-68k annually
