Hiring for all year student employment Parking Field Services Officer. Parking and Transportation Dept. $14.00 per hr.

Position Summary:

Field Services officers are responsible for enforcing parking regulations across campus. Officers will regularly interact with the public to offer guidance and recommendations in a variety of situations. Additionally, officers will provide assistance to motorists in parking ramps and lots through vehicle location and battery jump starts. Most work is outdoors and driving a vehicle is a must. Under direct supervision of the Parking Field Service Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Student Coordinator.

Students may work up to 20 hours per week, generally through a combination of 8 and 4 hour shifts. At least 16 hours is preferred shifts and are self scheduled by seniority. Shifts on weekdays run 3:00pm through 11:00pm, weekend shifts run 8:00am through 8:00pm. We can accommodate various scheduling changes, especially for academic related events. Student shifts are available all year except for University holidays.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience needed:

• Must be a current University of Iowa student
• Valid driver's license required and meet Fleet Safety Standards
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
