Overview of the Underwriting Associate
The Underwriting Associate will evaluate risk for commercial auto & property coverage and assist with researching info & processing applications.

*** This role is a regular, full-time position! ***
*** Must live in or near the Omaha, NE Metro Area ***
*** Hybrid Schedule with 2 days in office, 3 WFH ***
Responsibilities
- Utilize company criteria and protocols to evaluate risk among many lines of business
- Perform independent verification of insured's operations
- Review and process change requests
- Participate in Underwriting Training for new products, directives and processes
- Participate in projects as assigned
Requirements
- Computer savvy and investigation/research abilities
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Bachelor's degree required
- Analytical abilities
- Attention to detail
- Research skills
- Time-management
Compensation & Schedule
- $42,600
- M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some flexibility on start/end time, at manager's discretion
- Hybrid schedule includes working 3 days at home, and 2 onsite
