Career Peer Advisor (Paid Internship) 2026-2027

We are seeking students who are curious, proactive, and eager to make the most of a meaningful professional experience. As a Peer Advisor, you will be an important member of the career coaching team and support undergraduate students from all majors through one-on-one advising, presentations, and campus engagement.
What You'll Do:
• Meet with students individually (drop-in and scheduled) to review resumes, cover letters, and support job and internship search strategies
• Provide resume and document feedback virtually through Handshake
• Assist with office outreach by presenting to classes and student organizations
• Help students explore and maximize career center tools and resources
• Support the center by staffing career fairs and other campus events
• Participate in weekly team meetings and ongoing training
• Take initiative in projects, outreach efforts, and professional development opportunities throughout the year

About the Position:
This position is open to undergraduate students only and requires a minimum one-year commitment, including the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters. Peer Advisors must also be available for orientation on May 15, 2026, and mandatory training on August 20-21, 2026.
Paid: $11.00/hour
Time Commitment: Must be available to work ~10 hours/week (5 hours/week in-office between M–Th, 10am–3pm; 4 hours/week virtual appointments; 1 hour/week team meeting; plus additional hours as needed for events/presentations, including occasional evenings/weekends)
Duration: August 24, 2026 – May 7, 2027 (not including breaks)
