At Fusion, we supply mission-critical sealing and hydraulic components to OEMs, industrial customers, and repair facilities. Our name reflects what we do, bringing everything together into one reliable solution.
We’re looking for an organized and detail-driven Supply Chain Intern who wants to learn how sourcing, supplier relationships, and clear documentation keep a distribution business running. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sourcing, quoting, purchasing, and supplier management, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time Supply Chain Associate role after graduation.
What You’ll Learn and Do
- Get hands-on exposure to our products, suppliers, and operations
- Source parts and materials by researching suppliers and requesting quotes (RFQs)
- Compare supplier pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities
- Help build customer quotes by gathering cost, freight, and availability info
- Assist with purchase orders, order acknowledgments, and open-order follow-up
- Maintain supplier records, part numbers, and pricing files in our ERP system
- Organize supplier documentation, quotes, material certifications, and drawings
- Track inbound shipments and flag lead-time or shortage risks to the team
- Participate in professional development sessions with company leaders
Who You Are
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, or Business, or strong familiarity or interest with sourcing and purchasing.
- Interested in how sourcing, cost, and lead time affect customer delivery
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, part numbers, and detailed data
- Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and dependable, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
