MWS Capital Consultants, LLC offers bespoke investment advising, wealth management, and financial planning solutions primarily to individual investors as well as qualified retirement plans for businesses. Operating since 2003, MWS Capital has helped clients in the Chicago metropolitan area, and nationally, achieve their financial goals. The firm is expanding quickly with its team approach and is now seeking to add more talented individuals. A hands-on way to immerse yourself in the world of investments and advising, MWS Capital is excited to bring on an intern for the Summer of 2027.
Basic Qualifications:
- Finance or related field is preferrable, but any applicant is welcome
- Applications will be reviewed and followed by a round of Zoom interviews before final selection, however in person interviews may be available and applicants will be notified if so
- No cover letter necessary
- Position is in-person in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Account maintenance with hundreds of client accounts through our Custodian
- Working with the advisory team to aid in the process of making recommendations for individual clients and 401k plans
- Aiding in regulatory compliance work
- Opportunity to complete the FINRA series 65 exam
- Upon passing the series 65 (if applicable) Interns will be eligible to apply for a permanent position
- Other special projects will come along as the time goes, but will not be out of the scope of the intern’s capacity
Schedule:
- 9:00am – 3:00pm M-F
- June 14, 2027 – August 13, 2027
