Big-Data - Hadoop Developer

GALAXY i TECHNOLOGIES, looking for Big Data - Hadoop Developer (Fulltime) position. For the below Job responsibilities. This employment will serve as Fulltime associated with the academic program. Exposure in installing, configuring, and using Hadoop ecosystem components like Hadoop MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Zookeeper, Oozieand Flume. Proficient with Java, Spring Framework(IOC, AOP, Spring Transactions, JDBC Templates). Analyzing and reviewing business, functional and high-level technical requirements. Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to a Big Data environment. Design, implement, test, and document business object models, application services. Solid understanding of MapReduce and how the Hadoop Distributed File System work. Participate in Big-data and search related development involving Hadoop, Pig, Sqoop, and Elasticsearch. Good understand of enterprise architectural patterns including J2EE design patterns. Good understanding of HDFS Designs, Daemons, federation and HDFS high availability (HA). Good knowledge in integration of various data sources like RDBMS, Spreadsheets, Text files and XML files. Working knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, DB Triggers, Indexes. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment Technical Skills: Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, MapReduce, Java, PL/SQL, HDFS, ZooKeeper, Elasticsearch. In addition, it is our understanding that the student will be authorized to accept this FULLTIME OR PRACTICUM under United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services regulation governing Nonimmigrant Students (F-1) Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Curricular Practical Training (CPT) programs.
Master's in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Information Technology or any Equivalent Degree
