HS Special Education Autism Teacher located at Lansing High School.

Lansing USD 469 has a 9-12 HS Autism Teacher position for your consideration. The HS Autism Teacher will work with students to develop their individual potential, emotionally,socially, behaviorally and academically to help them prepare for the world in which they live. This position will require collaboration with families, teachers and other professional agencies in the community. 

Required Endorsements: 6-12 Adaptive Teacher from KSDE, or the ability to get this licensure.

Preferred Experience and education: Certification in Autism or approved program Coursework, and/or experience working with adolescents who have autism as their primary or secondary exceptionality. An endorsement in a 9-12 subject area is also preferred.
