Communication & Advocacy Internship

Overview: ICAAR’s redesigned website recently launched with an increased focus towards advocacy. ICAAR is therefore seeking a student intern to assist with communications and advocacy that enhances the social media presence with Realtor members and consumers. Working with ICAAR’s staff, the intern may also assist as needed with event planning and government affairs. Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape is essential. Highly creative and personable manner are desired.  

 

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

·    Assist with website redesign, search engine optimization, and updates

·    Post and monitor blogs, forums, and social networks

·    Online research and promotion using Facebook, Twitter, and more

·    General office responsibilities

·    Event planning (December 2019 major event planned)
