Some remote work, but mostly required to be on-site
Job Purpose Statement: To perform tasks necessary to support the purchasing staff to source equipment and materials, to support factory production on a regional and global scale, while working to achieve the best overall cost and on-time project implementation.
Reporting Structure: Reports to Regional Cluster Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Purchasing Director
Job Functions:
- Support purchasing team in the day-to-day business on a factory/regional level, including but not limited to pricing changes and set up of new parts within SAP, cost comparison analysis, reviewing part and cost reports, etc…
- Support purchasing team on all encompassing larger scope projects for entire department; IE – contract coverage deep-dive analysis, review and comparison of administrative details within our systems, etc…
- Coordinates and possibly participates in meeting with suppliers / cross-functional teams.
- Preparation of various reports or presentations, as requested.
- Maintain documentation, per BSH signature and retention guideline
- Non-production material: supports execution of onsite operational PU tasks (e.g. KPI reporting, contract management, tool crib part maintenance)
- Production material: Steering: Support for MPC reporting, planning, ratio projects
- Non Production Material: Steering: Supports assigned categories based on defined KPIs to contribute to maximum purchasing success (TCO)
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in Accredited College or University
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
- Good Communication skills, including public speaking
- Good computer skills, including data entry.
- Ability to follow instructions required to perform assigned tasks.
