Romo Strategies is a full-service public and government affairs consulting firm. We focus on positively impacting our clients’ agendas relating to federal, legislative and regulatory matters.
Our aim is to penetrate the startup market in the key startup cities of the nation and to build contacts, enlarge networks and begin strategic relationships.

This is your chance to gain valuable experience interacting and networking with up-and-coming startup companies that will lead to a real-world business experience into the nationwide entrepreneurial startup ecosystem.  
 
Responsibilities:

·       Assist team members in support activities examining and researching promising startup companies.  
·       Find key startup decision-makers and identify centers of influence in startup companies to build relationships and develop a network of potential leads.

·       Research and gather information about target startup companies and critical business intelligence in  pinpointing potential business opportunities

·       Use prospecting tools, email, social media, contact databases to research, identify and penetrate new startup business opportunities within said targeted accounts

·       Manage data for startup contacts, leads and opportunities and organize contacts in the Customer Relationship Management system.

·     Ensure follow-up by forwarding startup leads to appropriate team members with calls -to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.


Qualifications
  • Work remotely with supervision via phone, email and/or Facetime.
  • Undergraduate student majoring in Business or related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere, as well as, work individually
  • Avid user and understanding of social media.
  • Above all: You are an entrepreneur at heart, research-driven, self-motivated, and you have an insatiable can-do mentality.
