Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager to join the team. We are a team of talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about what we do and enjoy providing personalized attention to our clients. This project manager will focus on the management of EHS compliance for industrial clients of all sizes.

Project management
Maintain a billable utilization rate set by the board. Minimum utilization expectations may be adjusted when additional managerial tasks/assignments are assigned. Typical workweek to maintain billable utilization and managerial assignments may regularly exceed 40 hours.
Responsible for providing the necessary work for direct reports to maintain their billable utilization. 
Responsible for developing scope, schedule and budget for new projects. Prepare proposals and sell services to clients. Manage projects to each element. 
Manage other project-related business metrics such as write off, accounts receivables and work in process. These items are closely monitored through firm-wide reporting, reviewed and often used as an element of performance evaluation.

Client relationships
Responsible for maintenance and retention of clients through quality services, effective communication and efficient use of resources on projects.
Add value to clients by providing dual-benefit solutions, linking to other business drivers, bringing efficiencies to project and suggesting ways to escape regulatory burden.
Responsible for significant client interface at the project level. 
Responsible for meeting and managing the technical service needs of multiple clients of varying size, type and complexity of needs. 

Business development
Responsible for sustaining and improving relationships with clients, including the expectation to cross-market or refer other Fehr Graham services. Also required to support Branch Manager in securing new clients and opportunities for the growth of the firm.
Prepare and respond to requests for services with written proposals.
Demonstrate ability to coordinate with other project managers, branch managers, owners and marketing manager and contribute accordingly toward achievement of firm-wide business development objectives.
Achieve and maintain revenue levels set by the division and the branch. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/experience
Requires a BS, BA or MS degree in a relevant discipline or similar degree with appropriate experience. Discipline examples could be Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Geology, Water Resources, Biology, Chemistry or Earth Sciences. 
Minimum of 10 years of progressive EHS managerial experience in either an industrial setting or with a professional consulting firm. Registered professional in area of practice or possession of related certifications and/or licenses is desirable.

Technical expertise
Experience working with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance, including all aspects of the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act disciplines, including permitting, reporting, training and agency interaction. 
Experience working with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance, specifically 29 CFR Part 1910 and including program review, development, implementation and applicable training. 
Awareness and understanding of ISO-14001 and 18001/45001 standards and registrations.
Monitor, review and interpret new or proposed technical developments or regulations from EPA and OSHA and determine applicability for communication to clients and staff.
