Business Analyst Intern (Summer 2020)

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Throughout the summer internship program, you'll receive daily mentorship, training, and hands-on experience within your department. With ClickTime’s fast-paced energy and immersive curriculum, you’ll learn the ropes of the industry and be uniquely positioned for a successful career in tech. Please note that the internship program is only available to current college sophomores or juniors.

For ten weeks each summer, four to six interns in Software Development, Product Management, Marketing, Business Operations, and Customer Success, work with their department's team lead on daily projects, tasks, and assignments. In addition, you'll work with your intern team and ClickTime's CEO to design, test, and build a secret feature of our application, which you’ll present to the company at the end of the summer. Past intern projects have shipped and are regularly used by our customers worldwide!

ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you the person who sees different angles of a product or business opportunity? Do you talk to different people, connect the dots, and draw conclusions in ways that few people are able to achieve? If so, read on!

As a Business Analyst Intern, experimentation is at the core of what you do. In this role, you will work to effectively turn business questions into data analysis, and provide meaningful recommendations on business strategy. This is a unique role that will allow you to work with the sales, marketing, and product teams to gather data, craft a narrative based on that data, and drive actionable insights for the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyzing billions of hours in tracked time to determine user behavior
  • Business process management
  • Working with the product, marketing, and operations teams to improve user conversion
  • Helping go-to-market teams with ad-hoc analysis

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in business, operations, or management -related field.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a complete narrative using data.
  • Ability to connect data analysis to real business problems, in order to impact business performance.
  • Extremely proficient with Excel or Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with R, Python, Javascript, or SQL a plus
