Internship - Psychological Assessment Technician
Interns will, under supervision, administer numerous instruments utilized in vocational, psychological and neuropsychological evaluations. They are eligible to be certified to administer, score and interpret the Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation System (CVES) used with individuals with visual disabilities. They will also be trained to administer the McCarron-Dial System (MDS) used for vocational evaluation and determination of rehabilitation potential of the general population. Interns will see wide variety of cases including almost all of general categories represented in the DSM-5. They will gain experience with a variety of physical/medical disabilities including acquired brain injury; visual impairment and blindness; hearing impairment and deafness; amputees; back injuries; and other conditions
