Manufacturing Design Engineer (Req 118923)

Responsibilities:

Primarily evaluates internal/external processes, Advanced systems level troubleshooting of Electro/Opto-Mech and optical systems. 

The position will rely on a high degrees of initiative to build the specific system knowledge required to be successfull in the position. 

This position may required up to 50% travel.

Qualifications:

Systems Engineer with a focus on process & process tool development, supplier & customer interface, merging enterprise tools for effective management of Operations.Creative problem-solver, looking at the big picture while digging into details, able to develop systems through Design for Manufacturing process.

Planning organizing and assigning and completing tasks in a timely manner; working effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations; ability to work independently in a fast paced dynamic environment; communicating clearly and concisely verbally and in writing

An ability to think logically and critically that helps to weigh various available options and take the best decision in favor of efficient production. Quick decision making and excellent time management skills make the person doing industrial engineering jobs, quite resourceful

The job profile also demands a command on management and administration principles which are the basic tools for resource allocation, production and strategic planning, and; work coordination and delegation 

Programming (Scripting), MatLab, LabVIEW, MS Office (MS Access, MS Project, Visio), Python, Network Architecture, Problem-Solving, Statistical Analysis is a plus but not required.

Experience developing process improvements and process tools

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate (Academic)ORBachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience.ORMaster's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
