Research Scientist - Data Modeling (Req 119317)

Responsibilities:

The engineer will Identify, analyze, mine, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Analyze and Interpret data using statistical techniques and data models.

The engineer will design, develop and validate data models for further analysis using the state-of-the-art methodology such as machine-learning. He or she will be able to locate and define new improvement opportunities in the metrology and beyond.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in informatics, statistics, applied mathematics or related field. Successful candidate shall have technical expertise regarding data models, statistical techniques, machine learning for data, data mining and related techniques. He or she shall have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, and strong communication skills

Knowledge on metrology and/or semiconductor process is a big plus but it is not necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

M.S. in informatics, statistics, applied mathematics or related field.
