Sales Intern - Summer 2019

Responsibilities

As a sales intern with Shamrock Trading Corporation, you will obtain direct sales and client relationship experience within the transportation industry. Our interns sell alongside Shamrock’s sales and business development teams to gain valuable knowledge in customer relations, sales techniques, negotiation skills and industry knowledge.  
 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and multi-product line inside sales force
  • Interface with sales staff to understand all processes from lead generation to prospecting to qualifying and closing on new accounts
  • Develop new business deals, negotiate business terms, and lead negotiation process
  • Track metrics for all programs and activities. Continually refine all processes as necessary stay in front of customers in relevant industries
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum three plus years of college experience; maintain a strong GPA
  • Graduation date of December 2019 or May 2020
  • Excellent time management and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in the transportation or finance industries
  • Ability to demonstrate skills necessary to perform in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Self-directed and strong problem-solving skills
  • Multilingual skills are a plus
