Hydrogeologist (Mid-Level)
We are looking for a motivated hydrogeologist to join our Rockford, Illinois, team. We are a group of talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about what we do and enjoy providing personalized attention to our clients. Oh, and, we like to have fun.
What you'll do
The ideal candidate will be engaged in field and office work related to site assessments, investigations and cleanup. This person will likely work within a team in an assistance role until skills are developed. Experience with hazardous building materials is a bonus, but not required.
What it takes
This position requires a bachelor's (master's degree is a plus) in environmental science, geology/hydrogeology, physical sciences, civil engineering, environmental engineering or in a similar field with appropriate experience of one to three years.
We are looking for someone who has strong mathematical, geographical, scientific and technical skills. You should be practical, logical and a good problem-solver. You must be able to use maps and other visual methods of describing and recording hydrogeological data. You should speak and write well - something we take seriously. And you must be a team player.
