Business Development Manager

Amotec is growing, and we’re currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Cleveland team. This position will promote Amotec's Contract Staffing Division, and partner with new clients to help meet their talent needs.  



Business Development Manager Responsibilities



  • Leverage a diverse set of sales tactics including digital platforms, cold-calling, e-mail and face-to-face sales calls
  • Build new, and maintain existing, client relationship through a variety of sales strategies
  • Demonstrate leadership with strong cross-functional influencing skills, a drive for success and a winning attitude
  • Meet daily and weekly call and appointment goals
  • Work effectively with recruiters and management to provide a superior customer experience
  • Complete necessary paperwork and data tracking for the full sales cycle
  • Develop account sales plans and approaches to include targeted and active accounts
  • Take ownership and deliver on account objectives
  • Provide positive representation of the Amotec Mission Statement and Core Values  


Business Development Manager Responsibilities



  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Proven sales record in a business-to-business environment
  • Familiarity with a variety of sales tactics – from grassroots to social media
  • Must be comfortable reaching out to potential leads and maintaining existing relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to strategize, create and report on a sales plan
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Ability to produce in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills
