Internship (Grassroots Organizing)
Congressman John Delaney's Presidential Campaign is currently accepting applications for our internship program. An ideal intern should be motivated, detail oriented, display a strong work ethic, and interact well with constituents. Part-time and full-time internships are available.
Interns will learn from Campaign staff and be an integral part of the campaign team. This is a great opportunity to get on-the-ground training for anyone interested in politics.
The internship is open to current students and recent graduates. We are currently recruiting for positions that start during the spring semester of college and a second wave of positions for the summer season. Internships will most likely not be eligible for college credit.
Responsibilities:
- Training volunteers for canvassing, phone banking, and data entry.
- Contacting Voters and staffing campaign events
- Ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and volunteers.
- Professional demeanor as well as truthfulness and honesty are prerequisites
- Occasional travel throughout the state may be required
