Variety of Intern Positions
- Interns may be accepted relating to human services, children, psychology, business, or nutrition.
- Positions may be available in Burlington, Mt Pleasant, Fort Madison, Keokuk, or Columbus Junction, Iowa.
- Some possible duties may be related to general office work, data entry, food pantry assistance, childcare, education in Head Start, assistance with client goals, receptionist duties, classroom assistance, home visits, community meetings, or client intake.
- Most opportunities are between the hours of Monday through Friday 7AM – 5PM.
- Interns must maintain confidentiality of participants, adhere to Community Action’s policies, and be able to pass a background check.
- Interns will model professional behavior and dress code.
- Internships are not paid positions.
