Summer 2019 Marketing and Business Development Internship
Group Gordon is a high-end corporate public relations firm that develops and executes smart communications strategy to elevate its clients. With offices in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Connecticut, Group Gordon works in multiple industries, including finance, law, real estate, and nonprofit. We assist clients with strategic planning, media relations, branding, social media, crisis management, and media training. The firm's diversity of experience and understanding of its clients' goals produce inspired solutions to the toughest challenges.
The Group Gordon Marketing and Business Development intern will work closely with the marketing and business development team to expand the firm's visibility through a variety of marketing tactics and support new client acquisition efforts by helping to identify and research potential clients. Interns will also support the firm’s social media activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Furthering new business development through conducting research and assisting with the prospecting and proposal processes
- Assisting in drafting marketing materials, building marketing lists, and otherwise supporting the execution of GG's marketing plan
- Supporting day-to-day social media activity and campaign development + execution
The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent writing and research skills. Design abilities a plus. This internship is paid and preference is given to rising seniors.
