Requirements - The candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
·        Must have a passion for teaching ages 5-9
·        Teacher’s instructional approach must align with Self Development Academy’s vision and mission.
·        Arizona Certified K-6 School Teacher with two years’ experience. 
·        Must have SEI/ESL endorsement. We provide training for those that have not received such endorsements. 
·        Must have Content area expertise and pedagogical knowledge to teach rigorous curriculum.
·        Use effective instructional strategies to inspire students to do their very best.
·        Willing to learn and grow, attend professional development trainings, and contribute to the school’s community.
·        Must Demonstrate Four Essential Teaching Traits:
o   Ensuring Proper Task-Objective Alignment
o   Ensuring Full Participation among the students
o   Using Differentiation in classroom lessons and instructions
o   Using Frequent Formative Assessments
