Lead Counselor - Summer

Lead Counselors at Mayhew are responsible for leading the boys through the daily Island routine. This role is restricted to our male staff since a big part of Mayhew's philosophy involves linking positive male role-models for young boys and men who don't have to many positive male role-models in their lives. The best analogy for this job is that of the stay-at-home parent. Usually, each cabin group will have two counselors, with one staff member leaving the group during the day to facilitate an activity (athletics, swimming, etc.) and the Cabin Counselor staying with the boys to lead them from activity to activity.
