Speech Language Pathologist
Provide speech-language pathology (SLP) services to identified students attending schools associated with PPBOCES.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with the legal framework for SLP services in public schools, IDEA, federal and state laws.
Determine eligibility for special education services, need for related services, and design/ implementation of individual education plans.
Provide appropriate and accurate assessment.
Promote student engagement and support student participation.
Create, communicate and sustain effective collaboration.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of the practice of SLP.
Engage in professional development activities to support licensure requirements and/or professional goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
