Research and Marketing Intern

We have started a Real Estate Opportunity Zone Investment Fund. Our team has over 40 years of New York City real estate experience, so the intern will have the opportunity to learn about NYC real estate and also about Opportunity Zones investing and marketing/fundraising.

We are looking for interns, preferably full time, who can start as soon as possible. This internship may grow into a full time position.

Responsibilities will include:

Real Estate Research using Databases that we will provide (TechCrunch, Reonomy, PropertyShark, etc). Follow up calls to verify telephone, email and address information. Calling and setting up meetings with potential investors who have capital gains coming up.

Improving database quality (collecting new information and integrating it with our current proprietary DB).

Setting up phone calls to potential investors and also calling real estate owners and brokers. 

Searching websites and calling brokers to get additional information on listings that match our criteria.

May help with preparing investor presentations.

Some office/ clerical work.

Needs to be able to use programs like excel, power point, word, etc.

It would be helpful if the candidate knows how to program and use crawling programs to aggregate data (e.g. broker listings that sit on multiple sites need to be aggregated and reviewed on a weekly basis based on specific criteria).
