Alight’s Early Career Development Internship Program, Inspire
The Inspire Internship is a part of our early career development programs. Interns in this program actively participate in a blended 10-week summer program, across offices throughout the US. This program is a blend of formal education, experiential learning, and mentorship and networking. Helping you to succeed is our top priority. People matter.

As an Enterprise Solutions Engagement Intern, a typical day might include the following:
The Enterprise Solutions Engagement Intern role is responsible for generating demand in Health and Welfare Administration services with prospect companies.

·       Achieving individual engagement goals for Health and Welfare administration services and related products
·       Partnering with the Enterprise Solutions Sales Director to set and execute the lead strategy for assigned territory and lead the development of a plan that will contribute to revenue targets
·       Collecting and communicating market intelligence on products/services and incorporating it into the sales and client planning process
·       Researching prospective clients to qualify sales opportunities and customizing communications strategies that resonate with target companies
·       Scheduling meetings via phone or email with senior stakeholders at prospective client companies to educate them about the value of our Health and Welfare administration services
·       Maximizing the use (both individually and with the team) of sanctioned tools including but not limited to Salesforce.com.

This may be the job for you if:
·       Demonstrate strong communication strategy ability by crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale
·       You have strong consultative selling skills; including cold-calling/emailing and lead generation, pipeline management, strong negotiation skills and the ability to progress opportunities
·       You have the ability to sell value over price by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client’s business
·       You are able to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
·       You have the ability to navigate and learn multiple systems

You might also have:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Office Suite
Education:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or similar.

Applicants for this role must graduate between December 2019 – June 2020 and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.

Interns in the program can expect to participate in the activities outlined, below.
Formal education:
·       Role-based and business skills trainings
·       Weekly leader connects with Business Leaders, Ignite Colleagues, and Ignite Alumni
Experiential learning:
·       Hands-on impact projects, followed by end-of-internship presentations
·       Coaching and feedback provided throughout the program
Mentorship and networking:
·       Mentors are aligned to each intern
·       Planned social outings
