Description
The Production Operator is responsible for working in a variety of cheese making production functions to ensure continuous and efficient line operation. Candidates must be available to work weekends.
The Packer Operator is responsible for the efficient packing of cheese following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice policy. Candidates must be available to work weekends.
Requirements
We are offering a $2,000* Hiring Bonus to candidates for hourly positions who apply in 2021 . Bonus doesn't apply to part-time or temporary.
*Bonus amount is a gross amount. 2,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 90 days after hire; an additional $1,000 will be paid out in following paycheck 180 days after hire. Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible.

$20.00/hr 2nd Shift
$20.50/hr 3rd Shift
Paid 20% more on weekends, shift pay plus $3.60.
Candidates with related experience may qualify for even more.

Education: High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred
Experience: Previous employment in a food industry setting is preferred
Knowledge of: Basic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages)
Experience in: Food industry is preferred
The ideal candidate must have the following attributes/skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, vision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus ), able to push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally, be able to stand for entire shift, be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching) and must be able to work over 40 hours per week (weekends are required). Possess values of ambition and engagement, with simplicity.
