Entry Level- Accountant

Experienced staff accountant needed for an ongoing temporary assignment in Cedar Rapids with a well-respected company. The staff accountant will be reviewing journal entries, checking for accuracy and GAAP compliance, and doing any necessary research to resolve discrepancies. Candidates who have a degree in Accounting, two or more years' accounting experience, and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills will be the best match for this staff accountant role. 

Degree in accounting preferred, but not required for candidates with previous accounting experience.

Strong attention to detail.

Understanding of US GAAP.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
