Inventory Clerk/Accounts Payable/ Payroll
BAC Musical Instruments is one of the leading producers of handmade and mass produced musical instruments in the United States.
Inventory Clerk/Accounts Payable/Payroll Responsibilities:
Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
The Inventory/Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk will be responsible for the following duties:
Hours Breakdown - Inventory - 30 Hours/wk, AP and Payroll - 10 Hours/wk
Inventory Clerk Duties:
- Manage inventory level parameters for raw materials, packaged and finished goods.
- Track incoming and outgoing inventory
- Communicate and fulfill needs of our Manufacturers and Distributors in regards to moving of inventory
- Pick orders and manage all shipping details from packaging, labeling and tracking
Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk Job Duties:
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
- Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing payroll through Paycor
- Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Maintains historical records by filing documents.
- Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
