Internship- Discovery Camps- Summer 2020

Discovery Camp is comprised of weekly, science-themed sessions for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Discovery Camp interns will support lead instructors in delivering Summer Discover Camp curriculum, serve as an assistant instructor in after-care classrooms, supervise and facilitate activities for up to 20 children, and assist in the general workload of the education department to ensure the success of Discovery Camp.
Discovery Camp interns should be enrolled in an accredited university working toward a degree in teaching and/or a scientific discipline or mathematics. Basic knowledge and understanding of curriculum development is preferred. The Discovery Camp intern’s schedule will be Monday-Friday (times may vary) with a minimum commitment of four weeks between June 1 and August 14. Please state your availability in your cover letter.
