Spend your summer at Procter Summer Camp! We are the Episcopal (a liberal church camp) camp in Southern Ohio, 45 minutes south of Columbus.

Our camp program is a mix of cabin time, fun campy recreational activities (large group games, arts and crafts, etc), and christian formation (as a group, counselors create and design the program, its something we are known for! We have a 10 acre lake for swimming and boating, a pool, and campout in the woods one night each session.. We’d love new counselors to bring their gifts in the arts, aquatics, music, outdoor ed, camping skills, passion for community building, or just a love of camp into our community!

As a Procter staff member you will build friendships, create community, and learn valuable job skills. Our counselors help youth ask hard questions, engage with people outside their neighborhood, explore, question, and share their faith. You’ll help families connect with each other and the natural world. You’ll work hard, play hard, and spend your summer outdoors.

Procter runs a variety of camp programs for all ages. Four family camps, including a bilingual Spanish/English camp offer intergenerational space for toddlers through grandparents. Our youth camps are for 3rd-12th graders. This year we are adding Elder Camp which is for adults who love camp and want to experience the joy of camp. Also new this year is Adventure Camp which is a 3 night stay at our Adventure Camp site in the woods.

Procter Summer Camp depends on counselors dedicated to a fun summer of service and ministry, growing and learning together. We are intentional about hiring a camp staff that is reflective of the campers we serve. Counselors from any or no faith backgrounds, all socio economic statuses, people of color and members of the LGBT community are especially encouraged to apply. In addition to pay, staff receive all required training (lifeguard certifications available, CPR/AED), housing and meals.
