APPAREL DESIGN INTERNSHIP

INTERNSHIP FIELD EXPERIENCE

- Stipend: A total of $160 - $180. Half given at the beginning and half at mid-completion of internship.
- 180+ hours for 8 - 10 weeks
 * We can break the time up accordingly if needed and generate a summer schedule.

INTERN EXPECTATIONS
- Must be an Apparel Design and/or an Apparel Development major.
- Must be at Junior or Senior level in your studies.
- Must be proficient in sewing.
- Must learn quickly, and have an interest in starting your own business.

INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
 Task may include and are not limited to:
 - Patterning & pattern alteration.
 - Pattern layout & cutting.
 - Creating sewn samples for various projects.
 - Basic sewing of clothing, accessories, & home goods.
* The intern will have a chance to complete daywear alterations and be present for fittings. There will also be opportunities for design. This will be a sewing and pattern intensive internship.
