Accountant
CRST International, Inc., is seeking an analytical, detail orientated Accountant to join their Finance team located in their downtown Cedar Rapids, IA location
Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for general finance, accounting, and reporting activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Facilitate fixed asset accounting for all CRST Lincoln Sales, including recording asset purchases and disposals, reconciliation to general ledger, depreciation and capital expenditure forecasting, and tax depreciation reporting.
- Mail out the titles for salvaged, sold, or paid off tractors and trailers.
- Administer financial aspects of lease purchase program, including reconciliation to general ledger, quoting and processing buyouts, and monthly/quarterly reporting.
- Balance cash accounts for all CRST companies, including preparing journal entries to record monthly activity.
- Manage large databases with the use of excel and other software.
- Generate other financial reports and special projects as assigned.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned.
Experience, Qualifications, Education:
- 0-12 months experience in related field
- HS Diploma or GED
- B.A. in Accounting preferred
