Computer Science Teacher

Creighton Prep is currently accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in the Design Technology Department as a computer science teacher beginning in August of 2019.
Possible courses, programs, and activities may include:
  • College preparatory computer science, coding, information technology and robotics courses, including AP Computer Science.
  • Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extracurricular activities, especially those related to technology such as coding and robotics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields with preference given to candidates who have graduate degrees in these fields.
  • Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in information technology or the ability to obtain one prior to August 2019.
  • Preference given to candidates who are able to offer the courses as dual enrollment.
  • Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable.
