Postdoctoral Fellow - Cardiovascular Biology
The Olson Lab (olson.omrf.org) is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to study gene function in skin development, scar tissue formation (fibrosis), and wound healing. The lab uses genetic mouse models, lineage tracing, and primary cell culture to elucidate mechanisms regulating fibrosis and regeneration. We also use the mouse system to model human genetic diseases involving skin, bone, and fat. Our lab is part of the Cardiovascular Biology Research Program at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF), which is committed to training postdoctoral fellows for an independent research career. We seek candidates with a strong scientific background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work independently. Candidates with expertise in developmental biology, mouse genetics, stem cells, or molecular biology are encouraged to apply. The position is available immediately.
